On Thursday, 3rd January 2019 SRU launched a dissemination workshop on Final Draft Strategic Human Resources Management of Svay Rieng Universities 2019-2021 (SHRM.SRU). Chaired by H.E MOK Nghoy, Director General Higher Education, addressed and appreciated the effort of SRU to have prepared the policy and other strategic, esp strengthening the training quality and research. MR. SIN Putheasath, vice-rector, and HR4ASIA sub-project manager, presented the progressive report of the HR4ASIA and focus on some main points; Project Overview, Three specific objectives, Partners, Main Activities, Output, and Way forward. Mr. Dina Pen, presented the SHRM SRU 2019-2021, including vision, mission, goals, strategic plan which have been finalized. The 7 goals of the SHRM are:

  1. To ensure the consistency of numbers of lecturers and staff of the institution
  2. To develop, strengthen technical skills of staff and lecturers
  3. To develop HRM system which can be used and shared with stakeholders
  4. To strengthen and promote cooperation with both national and international partners in order to shares experiences
  5. To establish HRM office
  6. To compile the Operational Manual and performance governance
  7. To manage, retain and motivate lecturers and staff for career sustainability
