Associate Degree Admissions
Entrance Requirements: Students may pursue an associate degree at Svay Rieng University if they have a high school diploma. Students who failed the national high school examination may also start an associate degree programme at Svay Rieng University, however they would need approval from relevant SRU authorities.
Cost of Admission: $300
Schedule: Weekday and weekend studies available
Upon Graduation: Students can apply for jobs that require an associate degree or less certification. Students may also continue onto a bachelor degree programme, and if they do so at Svay Rieng University, they may enter the programme at Year 2 Semester 2.
Bachelor Degree Admissions
Entrance Requirements: Students must have passed the national high school exam and earned a high school diploma. Students who have failed the exam or failed to get a high school diploma but demonstrate a high level of ability may be able to enrol on a case-by-case basis. Students who earned a high school diploma from a Mathematical and English-Khmer Special Education Center can enter Year 3 Semester 1. Students who have an associate’s degree from Svay Rieng University OR a teaching certificate from a teacher training center may enter Year 2 Semester 2, while students with associates degrees from other universities will be evaluated and placed.
Cost of Admission: $350 per year for weekend students
$300 per year for weekday students
Schedule: Weekday and weekend studies available. Students may suspend their studies for a maximum of one year and resume studies without penalty.
Upon Graduation: Students can apply for jobs requiring a bachelor degree or less qualification in their field, or they can pursue a master degree at Svay Rieng University or another accredited university. English education students may enrol in a teacher training center or take a TEFL exam for certification. Students may further enrol in educational programs in foreign nations, based on their performance in placement programmes.
Master Degree Admissions
Entrance Requirements: Students must hold a bachelor degree from Svay Rieng University or another accredited undergraduate program.
Cost of Admission: $750 per year
$700 per year for Svay Rieng civil servants
$650 per year for students with a bachelor degree from Svay Rieng University
Schedule: Weekday and weekend studies available
Upon Graduation: Students can apply for careers that require a high educational background, and education students may apply for open positions at Svay Rieng University and other higher education institutions. Students may further enrol in educational programs in foreign nations, based on their performance in placement programmes.
